Directions: This document serves many purposes.

  3. Replace your preliminary topic with a narrowed research question/issue. Let others know precisely what you are researching
  4. Replace your research question/issue with a learning objective for your presentation. What specifically do you want your audience to be able to do after hearing your presentation.
  5. List the type of visual aid that you will be using during your presentation in the final column.

Grading:
  • Titles will receive a score of either 10 (Advanced), 7 (Developing), 5 (Basic), or 0 (Not submitted)
  • Make sure your title:
    • includes a title and subtitle separated by a colon
    • has proper capitalization and spelling
    • is both creative and describes the content
  • Objectives will receive a score of either 10 (Advanced), 7 (Developing), 5 (Basic), or 0 (Not submitted)
  • Make sure your objective:
    • completes the sentence: "The student will be able to..."
    • is clear ( We know people, place, documents, and ideas to be discussed)
    • is measureable (It describes how students will demonstrate an understanding
    • has proper capitalization and spelling
